Esta mañana me ha llegado el Live At Saint Olave’s Church de Current 93 y Anthony, el primer disco que escuché de ambos, caido como del cielo, porque era el único disco de Current disponible para bajar en el eMule, por allí al 2006. En aquellos entonces ya estaba descatalogado, quizás por ser edición limitada o porque Antony ya empezaba a sonar como artista más mainstream.
El caso es que me he pasado dos años buscando eventualmente, a ver si alguien se despegaba del suyo (cuando alguien vende algo así es que tiene serios problemas de dinero), y ha resultado que una distribuidora de Estados Unidos tenía uno en un rincón, aún por abrir y todo… gracias a Dios eBay.
Ya lo decía aquel, pide al Universo, que el Universo proveerá.

Lo malo de tener un vocoder, es que cuando te has cansado de susurrarle tus “uoooo” y “aaaassshhhh” al sintetizador, tienes que hacer letras. ¡No es fácil hacer letras!

Este señor es la cabeza pensante y ejecutora en proyectos como Gimmik, Num Num, Abfahrt Hinwil y tropecientos mini proyectos más, produciendo la mejor música electrónica que un servidor ha escuchado hasta el momento. No digo que sea lo mejor que hay, pero si que es lo que mejor me ha hecho sentir y viajar en cuanto a sonido se refiere. La producción es excelente y ya te puedes patear Toytronic, U-Cover y n5MD a ver si encuentras algo que suene parecido… Simplemente, en mi cerebro, destaca de sobremanera.
Como todo lo subjetivo, igual lo escuchais y os parece una mierda, pero no estaría de más que probarais, que no es chumbachuma ni nada ; )
He subido el primer tema de la banda que escuché, por alla el 2002, para el disfrute del personal. El disco está descatalogado, no creo que nadie se enfade…
